Two women found shot to death

They were called out to The Village on Memorial townhomes just after 11:30pm and found the women inside a unit. Police were talking to a male witness.

"The victims appear to be known to each other. Everybody in the apartment is known to each other," said Sgt. Patrick LeBlanc with the Houston Police Department homicide division. "It's still under investigation at this point. We have one witness that we're talking to right now, but that is about all we can say."

At least one of the women did not live in the unit, according to police.
