It happened last night at the Heartbreaker's Club off the Gulf Freeway at Pine. Investigators say the Dickinson officer confronted a man about a disturbance behind the club. The man became violent and attacked the officer. The officer pulled out his gun and fired at the man.
The man who confronted the officer is in a hospital. There's no word on his condition. The officer was not hurt.
