Classes cancelled due to power outage

A driver struck a transformer pole that supplies power to Magnolia Junior HIgh School, leaving the entire area without power. Officials have cancelled classes for the day at the junior high campus only. Classes will continue as normal at other Magnolia schools.

Parents are asked to come pick up their children. Buses will run to take the children home.

There's no word on any injuries as a result of the car accident.
