Layoffs possible in GISD

Tonight, the district is expected to discuss potential layoffs during a special meeting. Superintendent Lynne Cleveland plans to make suggestions to GISD trustees about ways to cut the budget. Some of those ways could be by cutting staff.

Tonight's special meeting for the Galveston public school district trustees will take place at 6:30pm at the Lovenberg administration building.
