HISD employee due in court on drug charge

Police dogs picked up the scent of drugs on the vehicle of Gina Thomas at a north side administrative center. She's currently a school improvement facilitator at Wheatley high school.

She and another teacher were reassigned to an administrative center after both were arrested twice last month for drugs.
