Deputies say two groups were fighting at a house off Avenue C near the East Freeway early Sunday morning when the men were stabbed. They drove to East Houston Regional Medical Center for help. But it's temporarily closed following Ike. A security guard called an ambulance and the men were taken to Ben Taub. But one of the men died.
No suspects have been arrested in the case.
