DALLAS, TX Police say Bonnie Liska died at the scene Tuesday morning.
Liska and her husband, who live in the Tampa area, were
traveling across country by rental car when they stopped at a gas
station on the highway, police said. When the husband got out of
the vehicle, Liska drove away. Her husband alerted police after she
fled.
Liska drove the vehicle to the Mockingbird Lane overpass where
police say she parked the vehicle facing the wrong way in the
U-turn over the highway. A witness tells police Liska then climbed
over the guard rail and jumped.
Police say her husband was distraught after the death and taken
to a hospital for medical attention.
