The security guard was working in a shopping center on Telephone Road near S. Wayside in southeast Houston overnight when he saw the man beating the woman, and even smashing her head into a car window. The guard asked the man to stop, but he wouldn't, so the guard shot the man in the leg.
The man and his girlfriend were taken to the hospital. We don't know their conditions.
The guard is not expected to face any charges.
