Voting begins for NFISD's tax referendum

North Forest ISD is asking voters to decide on a 13-cent increase in property taxes. According to the district, it would cost homeowners $66 a year. North Forest ISD has a deficit of almost $11.5 million.

Voting day for the tax referendum is December 6.
