Deputies responded to the call the night of Monday, October 27, 2008. Two black males entered the store at approximately 9:45 p.m. One had a hooded sweatshirt covering his face. The other wore no headgear, but pulled a small revolver and demanded money from the clerk on duty.
After the clerk opened the register, the gunman placed the cash tray on the counter and took all the cash from it. Then he and his hooded sidekick grabbed a bunch of cigarette packs and fled the scene.
The gunman was described as being 18-28 years old, 6' to 6'2" tall, about 170-190 pounds with a medium build, short black hair, and a clean shave. He wore a black sweater with writing on it, red and white shorts and red shoes.
The hooded bandit was described as being 18-28 years old, 5''7" to 5'10" tall, 160 to 180 pounds, medium build, short black hair. He wore a black hoodie with white letters on the back, black shorts and black shoes. He kept his face covered with the hoodie.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification, arrest and charging of any suspect in this case.
