Dog walker finds body in park

Around 7:45am Thursday, authorities were called after a citizen who had been walking his dog discovered a body in the water at a park. The park is located in the 4600 block of Rushhaven in The Woodlands subdivision.

Montgomery County Major Case Squad Detectives and Crime Scene Investigators with The Woodlands Fire Department recovered the body from the water. The unidentified white male appeared to be in his early 20's. The victim was taken to Southeast Texas Forensic Center in Conroe Texas for an autopsy to be performed at the order of Judge Connelly.

At this time the primary focus of the investigation is indentifying the male. The male is a white male, approximately 20-25 years of age, approximately 230 pounds and 6 feet tall. The man was wearing a silver necklace, bracelet and asilver ring of a scorpion on his left hand. The cause of death is undetermined, waiting for the results of the autopsy.
