People at the Holy Trinity Episcopal School on Lockwood near N. Lake Houston say it's an on-going problem each time it rains. They say the drainage culverts in the ditches clog, causing the parking lot to flood. The school has a nearby retaining pond. They're frustrated after several calls to the county for help.
"Every time this happens, our children have to be ferried in and out, or we have to carry them through the water," said school principal Shirley Ellisor.
County officials sent out a crew to check it today. They cay the culverts that the church installed to handle the run-off are too small. They're now working with the school to fix it.
