Police officer injured in wreck

HOUSTON Just before 10pm Friday, an officer was headed to a shooting call when he slammed into a car on Fondren near West Airport. As the officer approached the intersection, his lights and his siren were on. A woman and two children were in the other car that was involved in the accident.

HPD Sgt. David Morgan said, "All parties were transported to Southwest Memorial Hospital. With the information we have at this time, they all have minor injuries."

Police are still trying to determine who was at fault in this wreck.
