Teen at home after shooting

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX The Sharp family tells Eyewitness News they were watching a movie last Wednesday when a bullet came through their front window just after 9pm. Montgomery County Sheriff's Deputies believe a car drove by and fired the bullet into the home. Investigators believe the same person could be responsible for shooting at a car just a few minutes before that.

Jeffrey Sharp, 15, was struck in the back of the neck. The bullet is still lodged in his body. The freshman at Magnolia West High School can't participate in swim meets with his team until doctors figure out what they will do next.

Jeffrey's older brother, Jason, was struck by flying glass from the bullet. The Sharp family says they moved out into the county for peace and quiet but now they just want to find out who fired the shot into their home.

If you have any information on the shootings call Montgomery County Crime Stoppers at 800-392-STOP.
