Mother fatally shot as she left for work

HOUSTON Eyewitnesses told police a man shot Giselle Teapo several times in her pickup outside a home along Saulsworth and Misty Glen in southwest Houston. Teapo died at the scene.

"Shot her multiple times... Right now we don't have that person ID'ed. At this point we have someone we're looking at," said HPD Homicide Officer Alan Brown. "We've taken numerous witnesses here from the neighborhood down who witnessed the shooting and working on an identification."

The victim's cousin told Eyewitness News that Teapo had a violent ex-boyfriend. Police have not called him a suspect, but do want to question him.
