Dozens bowl to 'strike out seizures'

HOUSTON The annual bowling event was held at Palace Bowling Lanes in southwest Houston to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation of Texas. Many of the families who attend have children who deal with epilepsy. The "Strike Out for Seizures" was not only a good time, but for a good cause.

"They have countless seizures. Many of these kids and their families come out here and have great time bowling," said Donna Stahlhut, Director of the Epilepsy Foundation. "At the same time, they're helping raise money for our programs and our medical clinics."

13's Healthcheck reporter Christi Myers was also there, showing off her bowling skills.
