Suspect sought for public lewdness

SUGAR LAND, TX The Sugar Land Police Department is looking for a man who made lewd remarks to children in the Chimneystone subdivision and was later seen engaged in obscene behavior while looking through the window of a nearby dance school.

Several children riding bikes on their cul-de-sac in the 3000 block of Pecan Draw Court on Monday, October 13 reported that a black man in a dark green sports utility vehicle stopped and made sexually explicit comments. The man remained in his vehicle and drove away when one of the children ran toward her house.

Later that day, police believe the same man was seen touching himself while looking at children through the window of a dance school in the 3000 block of State Highway 6. The suspect was described as a black man, 25-30 years old, possibly 6 feet tall, with short hair and a thin face, wearing a white tank top. His dark green SUV had a broken driver's side window and a spare tire on the back of the vehicle.
