The school district is extending hours to make up for time lost due to Hurricane Ike.
All elementary schools will now be in session from 8am until 3:30pm. Lomax and La Porte Junior High will run from 8:15am until 4pm and students at La Porte High School are to report to class at 7:20am. The end of the school day for those students is 3pm.
