Man dies during fishing trip

KINGWOOD, TX Eyewitnesses say a man in his 60's went to River Grove Park Sunday afternoon ago to go fishing from a canoe. A short time later, his boat was found in the water, but the man was nowhere to be found. Eyewitnesses saw him moments before he went out on the water.

Eyewitness Eric Bergeron said, "He looked fine, yeah. He had a bunch of fishing equipment and everything."

The man's body was later found in the water. Police are trying to determine if he drowned or suffered some other medical condition. They say he wasn't wearing a life jacket.
