Murder suspect nabbed after 2 weeks

CLEVELAND, TX Ramiro Contreras, 24, has reportedly been captured. The Cleveland Advocate reports he was arrested Saturday in the Evergreen community in San Jacinto County.

The newspaper says officers with the Cleveland police department and the San Jacinto County sheriff's office took Contreras in. He had been missing for more than two weeks.

Authorities say he shot and killed Barbara Swearingen in her Cleveland home. Last Thursday we spoke with Ramiro's estranged wife Amy, who alleges her relationship with him was filled with violence.
