Smash and grab robbers hit furniture store

HOUSTON Early this morning, an alarm company notified police about a break-in at Bassett Home Furnishings store on the Southwest Freeway near Edloe.

Officers say the bandits used two rocks to smash the glass door. By the time police arrived, the crooks and two flat screens were gone.
