Wooden pallets ignite in 2-alarm blaze

FORT WORTH, TX No injuries were reported in the Thursday two-alarm fire at Metroplex Wood Products, but stacks upon stacks of wooden pallets turned into a stubborn bonfire that blazed through the morning.

Flames leaped as high as 100 feet into the darkness for three hours or more before crews brought the blaze under control about 7:30 a.m.
