Officer fatally shoots man at gas station

PASADENA, TX The incident happened along Cherry Brook at Strawberry. According to Pasadena police, an altercation started in the store between the suspect and the store owner. Pasadena police believe that the argument was not over gas. However, this is preliminary information.

The altercation continued outside and the police arrived. The suspect advanced at the officer with a knife and the officer shot the suspect.

The suspect was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not been released.

An investigation is underway.
