Police looking into possible smash and grab

HOUSTON Two males in a pickup truck crashed into the front door of a convenience store around 12:30am. They reportedly took some cash and cigarettes. An HPD unit spotted the truck on the Gulf Freeway and began chasing the suspects.

The truck crashed into a ditch on River Street and I-45 and the suspects tried to run away. Both were later arrested.
