TxDOT worker killed by oncoming car

HOUSTON It happened around 9:30pm on Travis near Girard. Authorities say the worker was picking up debris when a Ford Contour traveling at a high rate of speed hit him. The worker died at the scene.

Some witnesses chased after the Ford. That driver was arrested and tested for drugs and alcohol.
