Firerfighter suffers heat exhaustion

HOUSTON It happened on Roos Street at Sandpiper in southwest Houston. Investigators say the garage of the one story home caught fire and then spread to the attic. It took firefighters about 30 minutes to put out the flames.

One firefighter suffered minor heat exhaustion. He was treated on the scene. Arson is now looking into the cause of the fire.
