Red Cross helping families displaced by fire

A dozen families in southeast Houston were forced out of their homes because of a fire. It broke out Saturday evening on Broadway near Kimble. Eight units suffered fire damage, and eight others sustained water damage. Investigators are looking for the cause of the blaze.

No one was injured in the fire, but at least a dozen families were left homeless. The Red Cross is helping them with temporary shelter.
