SW Houston streets under water

HOUSTON Storms moved through in the afternoon and left Beechnut north of Highway 59 just about impassable. In spots along Beechnut, SkyEye 13 found several cars whose drivers sought refuge on the median and others that were stalled out.

The rain has moved out for now, but Chief Meteorologist Tim Heller says storms may cause problems again Friday. Check our weather page for a complete forecast.
