Suspected killer in custody following standoff

HOUSTON It happened at an apartment on Clarewood and Atwell. Officers believe the suspect's friend tried to stall the search by telling them the suspect had several guns. During that time, police say the suspect tried to escape through a neighboring apartment by burrowing through a wall.

Police eventually went in and arrested him and his friend. The suspect is wanted for a murder off Hillcroft Saturday night.
