Two soldiers die in motorcycle crash

EL PASO, TX Army Sgt. Joshua U. Rodriguez and Pvt. 1st Class Paul A. Honto crashed near a curve in the road Thursday evening, police said. Rodriguez was driving, and Honto was a passenger on the 2004 Kawasaki motorcycle.

One died at the scene, and the other died a short time later at Thomason Hospital, El Paso police spokesman Darrel Petry told the El Paso Times. Investigators said speed was a factor.

Both were members of the 1st Armor Division, Fort Bliss said in a brief statement Friday.
