Bush still raking in cash for GOP

WASHINGTON The fundraiser in chief has pulled in nearly a billion dollars since he took office at the start of 2001. The money has helped the Republican Party, GOP candidates and Bush's own re-election campaign and inauguration during two terms in office.

He's raised about 70 million dollars this year. One 90 minute fundraiser at a California winery in Napa Valley helped wring $850,000 from deep-pocket donors. That's almost 10 grand a minute.

During Bill Clinton's last year in office, he attended 203 fundraisers that made more than 105 million bucks. That's according to informal numbers tallied by Mark Knoller, a CBS News White House correspondent.
