Move out day for residents forced out

HOUSTON Last week, city building inspectors ordered the Gables of Inwood apartments shut down because of a number of safety violations. Many units are trashed and have broken air conditioners. Residents have also dealt with a roach infestation.

The city says the owners did not follow orders to repair the property. Residents have received assistance in finding new homes.
