Carjacker steals vehicle with toddler inside

HOUSTON Investigators say the SUV was parked in a driveway at a home near Lestergate and Hickory Gate. The man jumped in a mother's SUV while she was locking the front door. She ran after the vehicle and the carjacker stopped and let her pick up the child. He ditched the vehicle a few blocks away.

Both mom and toddler are fine but the carjacker got away.
