Alleged drug suspect leads police on chase

HOUSTON The officers say the suspect approached them around 3am. They tried to arrest him, but the suspect took off in a car.

Police chased him onto Highway 59. The suspect exited the freeway and then crashed through a fence and into a parking lot near downtown Houston.

He fled on foot and was later taken into custody on McKee near Sterrett.
