A shooting victim raced across a northwest Harris County street to an apartment complex and collapsed while looking for help. It happened last night on Jones Road near Steeple Park. Police say a car pulled up to a pedestrian when someone inside opened fire and hit the man twice. He ran across the street to the Camden Steeplechase apartments and collapsed.

Authorities say he is expected to be okay. Police don't have a suspect or a motive for the shooting.

Deputies are now looking for a dark-colored Hyundai Sonata.
