The driver of an 18-wheeler apparently fell asleep at the wheel, causing a major accident in northeast Houston. Around 1am, the truck driver was traveling northbound on Maxey near Wallisville when the vehicle began to swerve. The truck flipped and slid upside down into a ditch on the left side of the road.

HazMat crews responded as a precaution, but the container he was carrying was empty. The driver ran from the scene and wasn't found.
