Robbery victim run over by getaway car

HOUSTON It all started around 3:30pm at the Quik Food Store on the corner of Aldine Mail Route and Airline, just two miles south of Beltway 8. A man withdrew some money from an ATM when he was robbed at gunpoint.

The suspect then tried to leave the scene, but the victim pulled a gun of his own and shot at the suspect. The victim was then run over by the getaway car after the suspect jumped inside.

The victim is expected to survive his injuries. There is no description of the getaway car available.
