Groups build new home for wounded veteran

LA MARQUE, TX HelpingHero.org broke ground at the site of a new home they will build for retired Army Specialist Sergio Trejo and his family. Trejo was a trained sniper serving in Iraq when a roadside bomb exploded near him during his second tour of duty. The explosion left the soldier with a broken back and a brain injury.

"I really don't have no words. It's just unreal," he said. " Very grateful for everything, for Wounded Hero Home program, the Rotary Club. It's just… They've changed my family's life forever."

The new home for the Trejo family should be finished in November.
