Investigators are trying to determine if the spring-fed lake is linked to a waterborne illness that can cause diarrhea -- cryptosporidiosis.
Health experts say at least eight adults who swam in the lake, since June 21, have contracted the disease. Two had to be hospitalized.
Laboratory results are pending on water from the lake that's part of a 30-acre park.
