On-field skits with Alex and Cynthia Rodriguez look-alikes; Madonna's hits playing between innings -- those are just a couple of ways a North Texas minor league team tried to cash in on the tabloid fodder surrounding the New York Yankees third bseman. The Grand Prairie AirHogs are an independent team west of Dallas, where A-Rod married his now-estranged wife. It's just a few miles from the home of the Texas Rangers, for whom Rodriguez once played shortstop. Last night, the American Association team is offered $1 tickets to fans wearing A-Rod jerseys or dressed as Madonna.

Cynthia Rodriguez filed for divorce last week after more than five years of marriage to the New York Yankee star, citing her husband's alleged infidelity. Alex Rodriguez has been linked in various tabloid reports to Madonna, though both have denied a romantic relationship.

The A-Rod and Cynthia Rodriguez look-alikes participated in a fake divorce trial to see who would win possession of the house, car and luxury items. There also was a dance contest to the Material Girl's songs.
