Police subdue chase suspect with Taser

The chase lasted for about 35 minutes in northeast Houston. A film crew from the TV show "Cops" just happened to be along for the ride.

The incident started when the man allegedly broke into his ex-wife's house because he says she had another man over.

Deputies first spotted him around 9:45pm driving around the north side neighborhood. The suspect raced up and down the North Freeway, trying to get away from deputies. The chase ended when he crashed at Jensen and Jewel.

"At some points, we were at 50 and some points we were over 100 miles an hour," said Sgt. Jimmie Cook with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Not only did our cameras catch the chase and arrest but so did the camera crew from "Cops". They had plenty to record as the man was subdued with a Taser after he tried to run from the scene.

Authorities say they also found alcohol containers in his car. He was treated on the scene for minor injuries before being taken to jail.
