Woman run over on Southwest Freeway

HOUSTON It happened around 2:30am Sunday. Valshecka Flowers, 29, was attempting to walk across the freeway near the West Loop when she was hit by an off-duty officer in a city vehicle. She was later run over by at least three other vehicles.

People on the scene say it appeared she was trying to get back to her car on the other side of the freeway.
