Women arrested with $1M in cocaine

SUGAR LAND, TX On Wednesday, agents conducted a narcotics investigation at 19600 Southwest Freeway, Sugar Land. They questioned two women and a 14-year-old boy who were in a vehicle parked at a Joe's Crab Shack. The woman in the driver's seat of the car was identified as Tarsila Villarreal, 37, of Salineno, Texas. The passenger of the vehicle was identified as Sanjuanita Garcia, 43, of Garciasville, Texas.

Agents searched the vehicle and discovered 22 bundles of cocaine hidden in a specially manufactured compartment of the vehicle. The cocaine, which weighed more than 52 pounds, has a street value of approximately $1.1 million.

Villarreal and Garcia were arrested and are currently incarcerated in the Fort Bend County Jail for the offense of possession of a controlled substance, a first degree felony.
