Alcohol suspected in fatal motorcycle crash

HOUSTON It happened around 4:30am on Addicks Clodine near Westheimer. Deputies say other drivers reported seeing the man lying on the road. The motorcycle rider had crashed into a tree and investigators say it does not appear he was wearing his helmet.

"At this point we're just going to complete the investigation, get toxicology and inspect the motorcycle further to make sure there was not contact with any other vehicle that caused the accident," said Deputy G. Chelette with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies say witnesses reported seeing him drinking before the crash at a different location.
