Aeros sign two players

HOUSTON Brust went 24-16-3 with at 2.27 goals-against average, a .919 save percentage and four shutouts in 43 games in his first season with the AHL Aeros in 2007-08. He ranked sixth in the league in GAA amd was a co-winner of the Harry "Hap" Holmes award, given to the goaltender(s) who allowed the fewest goals in the AHL regular season.

Schultz, 25, scored 66 points (26 goals, 40 assists) including six power-play goals, 43 penalty minutes and a plus-15 rating in 80 games for the Chicago Wolves last season. He had eight goals and six assists in 24 playoff games to lead the Wolves to the Calder Cup title. He is a cousin of Wild defenseman Nick Schultz.
