Coast Guard rescues 6 from capsized boat

HOUSTON Six sailors are lucky this holiday weekend. They were rescued in the water after their boat capsized in the Gulf of Mexico.

The Coast Guard told us their 20-foot sailboat flipped about 10 miles south of Matagorda Island yesterday. Four of the boaters swam to an oil rig. The other two were swept away by water currents.

All six were later rescued and are doing fine.
