Man accused of Acres Homes murder due in court

HOUSTON Brian Davis is charged with capital murder for the death of Kandus Hightower-Sharp. Investigators say Davis stabbed Sharp, burned her alive and then dumped her body in northwest Houston last August.

Investigators previously said Davis was a person of interest in one of the unsolved murders of women whose bodies were dumped in the /*Acres Homes*/ area of northwest Houston.
