Bullet hits windshield of undercover cops

HOUSTON It was around 11pm when the two officers were inside their truck parked on East 31st near the North Freeway. They were doing routine paperwork when their front windshield was hit by a bullet. Neither of the officers was hurt.

Investigators combed the area for weapons, but didn't find anything. They questioned a nearby business owner who had guns on his property, but he says he had nothing to do with the shooting.
