Trial underway in football star's killing

HOUSTON Emile Lewis is charged with murder. Opening statements got underway Friday afternoon in his murder trial. Prosecutors say he got into a fight with Herman Mitchell in August of last year and ended up shooting him five times.

Mitchell was a linebacker for the Westfield Mustangs and planned to play for the University of Oklahoma.
