Man tied up with cord, stabbed multiple times

HOUSTON It happened at a home on Eugene Street near Vaughn. Police say a man was tied up with a telephone cord and stabbed at least seven times by his own nephew. The nephew stole his uncle's wallet and ran off.

Police say the nephew is an ex-con who managed to take off his ankle monitor. The victim's condition is unknown.
